L E A D I N G H A N D - Victoria River Downs Station
The leading hand supervises and coaches the station hands whilst provides support to the head stockman in planning, implementing, and evaluating the livestock management program.
This includes but is not limited to herd management, animal husbandry, fencing, infrastructure maintenance, capital works, and weed and pest management.
Strong leadership skills, a high level of cattle and horse handling skills, along with a high standard of safety is essential.

Victoria River Downs Station is managed by Rusty + Julie Richter, and runs approximately 13,000 breeders with a total herd over 33,000 head, covering 3,800km2
